Amazon.co.uk Review
Best of what, one may ask? Well, of Rare Cult, itself a limited edition six-CD box set designed with the hard-core fan in mind. If your principal memory of The Cult, however, is "She Sells Sanctuary", you'll be pleased to know that it's included here in an extended version. A bunch of other rarities and B-sides, five of which are not included in the box set make this a must-own for stalwart fans as well. --Genevieve Williams

Buy it!
If you like the "pumping, blow your head off" Cult tracks as opposed to the ballads and Zap City, Faith Healer, Little Face and Love Trooper are not in your collection then this is a must.
Thought I had all the best Cult before this (bar the elusive £75 set), I was wrong.
an ecletic mix
this serves as a taster for the six cd box set currently available & also contains five exculsive tracks not in the box set. this makes you realise what a prolific band the cult were and how much material they stockpiled. my only critisism of this disc would be that it sounds a little disjointed having the songs out of chronological order as they are in the box set so it is difficult to see the natural progression that their song writing took , however if the box set is eluding you then this makes a great introduction whilst you save up for it
Not bad at all
I'm not a big fan of The Cult, by any means. In fact, I only bought this for She Sells Sanctuary. However, after a few listens I realised that there are a number of trong tunes on here. It's not my usual kind of music, but the tunes are strong enough, memorable enough and with enough variation that I won't begrudge it a listen. I'm told by a friend and fan of theirs that the selection of tracks on offer is very well chosen indeed. So, if you're at all interested in the band then this may be the thing for you.
