Amazon.co.uk Review
The Smashing Pumpkins: 1991-2000 Greatest Hits Video Collection visually charts the progress of the band from grunge rockers to AOR stars. Shot on Super 8, the grainy early videos ("Siva" and "Rhinoceros") depict the progressive psychedelia of their early sound. Despite the continuation of an alternative music style on Siamese Dream (the group's first album with Virgin), the videos from this era become more mainstream in a blatant attempt to get MTV airplay. Matching the commercial and accessible style of the album, the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness videos are big-budget numbers. Drawing on their long-standing fascination with 70s youth culture, the "1979" video provides another romanticised depiction of that period, while the awarding-winning "Tonight, Tonight" is a clever remake of Méliès Trip to the Moon. The epic style continues on later videos, with "Perfect" being a sequel to "1979". Also included is the harrowing short film by Jonas Akerlund, "Try" (a 15-minute extended version of the "Try, Try, Try" video), which follows the last days of a homeless, pregnant young woman. Also included are live performances from their final concert. This is a fitting anthology of both the Pumpkins' restraint and excess.

On the DVD: Due to the extensive number of bonus features available with each video (including commentaries, outtakes and behind the scenes footage), the initial selection process is far from straightforward, which is why the title menu includes a Help option to guide the viewer through the complex procedure. DVD-ROM users can also access exclusive Smashing Pumpkin art.--John Galilee

Timeless.5
This is some of the best music of the 90's along with some of the most artistic and brilliant videos ever made.
The Smashing Pumpkins are one of the most experimentle bands ever. They changed there sound with every album And went against the grain everytime making some of the most unique rock music ever.
Songs like "Tonight' Tonight" broke away from what was popular in the mid 90's and has one of the best videos ever made. "Bullet with Butterfly wings" is a gritty and angsty jaw dropping video, maybe the pumpkins best known song.
"Stand inside your love" is an amazing photogenic piece of art that gets better everytime.
This Dvd shows all these videos and more including documentarys on the videos plus live videos of other classic songs.
This Dvd is a must have for any fan of rock music.
The pumpkins are one off the greatest rock bands off all time and this Dvd shows just why that is.
YOU NEED THIS DVD!

Ava Adore this!5
Genius! Eyecandy. This is a trip. It is quite a lot of money for one dvd, but it is a very good dvd (with the worst menu I've EVER seen)!

Pumpkins videos are works of art. This dvd is about the Pumpkins videos. How can it not be good? It is exactly what it says: a collection containing the videos, including outtakes and interviews about the making of the videos. This one has a place in my "Best of" section. It transcends Pumpkins-fandom. (That means you will probably like it even if you are not a Pumpkin fan). Expensive, but worth it.

Awesome5
This is a very good history of one of the most under-rated bands of all time.
Most of the videos are here, only The End Is The Beginning Is The End video appears to be missing, but that is ok when you see what is on offer.
There are a multitude of extras on offer, behind the scenes on all of the videos with the option of running commentary or music.
The live stuff is cool too, very good sound throughout and the slickness of the title screens makes this a joy to watch.
The video for Untitled is different to the one being shown on MTV it is a look at the band recording the song, and it is hidden too,so have fun looking for it.
This is well worth the money, anyone who likes the band will love this.
