Awsome !5
Have been a fan of the band ever since Northwinds, and this brings them right up to date. This whole set from the good old Hammy O in London scorchers right from the very first minute. You will play this over and over, all involved are on fire, especially DC. Highly Recommended !!

Snakes On Fire5
I wasn't sure whether to buy this DVD, I thought maybe DC was just trying to recreate past glory's with a bunch of washed up cohorts.....well how wrong can you be?

This is a truly great rock concert with excellent musicians and all of Whitesnake's best songs...Burn ( although not a "snake" tune) is absolutely breathtaking..and from then on David continues to prove his voice isn't ruined as some say, ok it's changed a little , but he got older so we can forgive him.

One thing I didn't like was the black and white camera effects, I thought my DVD player was going wrong !!

Apart from that...no complaints at all, and I bought the limited edition so I have the Live CD in my car.

So..a really great DVD from Whitesnake..go and buy it..see how rock should be performed.

A Work of Art!5
I was at this show, as well as several other Whitesnake shows over the past few years, and all I can say is that this DVD and the band's performance is flawless. I am a big Whitesnake fan but I am not blinded by the hype! So from a reviewer who was actually at the show and who has watched the DVD many times over, I can say that I am in the position to review this DVD... and it is simply a work of art! The band's overall performance is energetic and keeps the viewers interest throughout. David belts the hell out of his songs and if you watch closely, you can see how David exercises his art... his voice is his instrument and he knows how to use it. He has never been one to go through the motions and puts 110% in every single show. He has a wonderful rapport with the audience. The director did cut out most of his exchanges with the audience but that is to keep with the momentum of the concert. Personally, I think the insertion of audience members is just perfect. There are shots of all kinds of people... but the point is... they are all rocking to the show! I think the insertion of the black and white grainy effect is artistic and makes it visually interesting. All the effects and edits make this a very professional DVD of the highest quality. Doug Aldrich has the perfect guitar sound for Whitesnake. His performances are a treat for the eyes and ears. I particularly liked the close-up shots of Timothy Drury on keyboards. You really get to appreciate his talent and see what an integral part of the Whitesnake sound he is... on vocals and keyboards. Marco Mendoza was the perfect bassist for Whitesnake. The man is immensely talented (I know because I've also seen him perform in other bands and with his Latin Funk trio in LA). When Marco sings Burn with David, they are in perfect harmony. He has just the right look and sexiness for Whitesnake! I strongly recommend this DVD to anyone... this is not just for the die-hard Whitesnake fans. Anyone who likes to listen to good rock and watch energetic performances will soon be a Whitesnake convert and will consider the DVD part of their best music collection.
