Manufacturer's Description

Ultimate Brain & Mind Pack

Test and Improve your Memory

Memory is one of our brain's most important functions and we constantly call upon it every single day. That is why it's so important to keep it developed, strengthened and in top form, whatever your age.

The "Test and Improve your Memory" PC CD-ROM is a fun and innovative way to expose the limits of your mind and build-up your brainpower. Highly suited to students preparing for exams, professionals wanting to think faster or adults in general, it strengthens memory whilst testing skills such as language and concentration in a highly personalised workout.

Brain Trainer

Your personal trainer for boosting brain power!

Ever heard the phrase USE IT OR LOSE IT? Our brain power naturally declines as we grow older, but regular mental exercise can help slow and even reverse this process.

Whatever your age, Brain Trainer is designed to help you improve your mental sharpness. Using proven techniques that really boost your brain's performance, Brain Trainer will speed up your brain's processing speed to help you make better and faster decisions.

Play a daily range of fun activities in the 10 minute "Daily Brain Test" and review your progress, or just play your choice of activities for the challenge. A selection of fifteen exercises are divided into five distinct areas; memory, logical, numerical, spatial and verbal; to provide a broad and thorough mental workout.

With unlimited questions and engaging exercises, Brain Trainer is the ideal way to return to mental fitness. Experts agree that spending 10 to 15 minutes a day on a brain training workout using simple exercises and puzzles can improve the skills needed to achieve greater success academically and in everyday life.

Handle with care2
One of the programmes in this suite took it upon itself to change my PC's settings with regard to Quicktime (not sure which one), and disabled Itunes and Quicktime for months until I found a solution (the problem went Registry deep) - and any programmes reliant on Quicktime were also affected. It is only sensible to add a caveat here that all PC configurations are different, and this has obviously not been a problem for other users. However, it is customary for programmes to ask for confirmation if they are going to do something like this, and I wasn't given the opportunity to say "yay" or "nay". While they were running they looked OK, if a little dated graphically, but in the circumstances I think I'll just dig out my Sudoku book!
