Average customer review:Product Description
By adding more advanced tools and concepts to the modern ninja's training regimen, this book continues where volume one left off. In the second book of the series, "Hayes" introduces combat principles, such as dealing with and avoiding danger, rolls and ground rebounds, training for modern altercations, and the power-generating hand symbols of kuji-in.

Customer Reviews
It's great!
This book is of incredible value, it teaches the basic stances, meditation, ways of controlling your own feelings to adapt better to the situation and much more. This is yet another excellent book of Shidoshi Hayes. If you want to learn about Ninjutsu, this book is a must.
Only the beginning!
This is indeed an articulate and well eritten book on the Bujinkan system. I do find, however, that the latter part of the book is somewhat inferior to the rest of the book, and to state that there are some 'nuts and bolts' missing from the the section on Kuji Kiri is the greatest understatement I have ever read to date! However, I still do not feel this is the greatest shortcoming of this section, I feel that is the way such spiritual practices are portrayed by the book - both their nature and purpose. Kuji Kiri is not simply a 'Ninja thing', and many high level 'mystical' practices involve near identical practices. Their real value is providing an insight into the real nature of things which can not comprehended through our limited three dimensional 'reality' - this is the purpose of such practices, and any bodily enhancement achieved throught this practice can be achieved via the endorine system through higher Yogic practices anyone can read of. Those searching knowledge of this type should use this book as a start, and read more widely on eastern mysiticsm, and supplement this with the works of Fritjof Capra, James Lovelock etc. to help digest the eastern material; remember, the Eastern paradigm is radically different the prevailing Western paradigm.
Excellent Book
This is an excellent book for anyone who wishes either to learn about ninjas or for those who wish to learn about ninjutsu. I highly recomend this book to all aspiring martial artists out there.
