The recline position, wide seat base and safe side support guarantee a smooth and relaxing ride every time. It has a comfortable, child-friendly headrest and wide seat. Easy to adjust on the front with one hand, the car seat also has a backrest that grows along with your child in both length and width. It has optimal side crash protection for head, lower back and hips and is extra stable thanks to anchorage point in the headrest. Belt hooks allow for optimal belt routing adapted to the size of the child. Best of all, the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR is lightweight (5.1 kg), easy to transfer from one car to the next and has a washable soft moiré cover that is washable by hand. The car seat must only be used in a forward-facing seat equipped with an automatic or static 3-point safety belt, never a 2-point safety belt. Due to it's adjustable nature, the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR is suitable for children from 3.5 up to 12 years, or from 15 to 36 kgs.

Lovely seat, super safety record and my daughter loves being in her big girl seat.

The only downside, and it's a big downside for us, is that the shoulder supports are wider than the base, so it only just fits in the car with the stage 1 & 2 car seats we also have in there. It also means that when the baby needs to move up into a Stage 2 seat, one child will have to go into the boot. It also means that even though it's the safest car seat, we're going to have to get a different one for my next daughter and will be looking for a narrower one.
