excellent laptop
just got this acer laptop its a nice size not heavy got a nice gloss blue finish on the outside matt finish around the keyboard so it wont be showing of all the finger prints like the gloss ones do first time on it was very easy to set up got myself the norton 360 which is windows 7 compatable and again was very easy to install been used to vista but the changes they have made with 7 are good the laptop does shutdown and start alot quicker the screen is widescreen,the picture is very clear and sharp.the colours are bright and rich theres loads of stuff on the laptop weather you will ever use them all[who knows] the sound quality is great to espacially with the dolby home theatre settings i synched 100 songs from my sony mp3 player to the windows media player no problem[thought id have to get all the cds out and do it that way] i havent tryed the webcam yet.online the pages loaded very quick. well this laptop gets 5 stars from me it does everything i want it to do and loads more if i get round to trying it out

great product at a bargain price
I recieved this laptop yesterday for Christmas but had a quick go on it "just to check it works" and it looks great. It is capable to open many windows and run many applications at once without lagging or slowing up. The screen is great and so is the keyboard. Windows 7 is much better than XP which I had on my old laptop. It makes it easier to organise files and then find them again if you're not so organised. The only one drawback is the touchpad. I find it harder to use than most but it doesn't matter to me as I just use a mouse. For any of you who like video chatting the webcam is of good quality. I would recommend this to anyone as a great everyday laptop for great value.

A Good Purchase
I particularly like the numeric keyboard on this machine that my previous one did not have. Typing in a variety of languages and needing to use ASCII codes for accented letters it speeds things up on this machine. Add to that a good screen and bags of memory it really has been a good purchase. It is the envy of a number of colleagues who are struggling to get satisfaction from their DELLs.
