Couldn't wish for more
Over the past 50 years I had used a wide range of Braun shavers and when I needed to replace the last one I came across the enthusiastic reviews of the Wahl Ultima on this site and thought it worth a try. I have not been disappointed. I now take less time to shave than ever before and with a better result. It is comfortable to use and recharges in a much shorter time than any of my previous razors. My only regret is that I didn't come across it years ago. Highly recommended.

Excellent but with one niggle
Of the four or five brands I've owned since I began shaving this gives by far the best shave and at an excellent price too. (Personally, I get a better shave with this razor than when I wet shave)

The one niggle I have with this razor however, is the foil protector. It comes off far too easily which leaves the foil unprotected. This is what ruined my last razor as the foil got damaged as a result.
However, that said if you take the necessary care of it, I believe it will last as it appears to be of solid quality.

Very close shave, solid quality - good product.
Most people would agree that you don't get as close a shave with an electric shaver as you would with a conventional wet shave, however having just used this one with about three days' stubble on my face, to me it feels about as good as I was getting with my Fusion. And there's no hassle involved! Admittedly I don't get an all over thick beard after three days no shaving, so maybe I'm more suited to an electric shaver. It has a long hair trimmer which you can use on the longer beard stubble before using the main foil, which makes the foil shave more efficient. The design looks and feels good as well as solid. The cord provided is two prong, so make sure you have the appropriate adaptor.
