Faulty1
Delivered quickly but in contrast to previous review, when it plays which is not all DVD's (eg didn't recognise that a brand new Mama Mia DVD was in the drive) it is very jerky and pauses, presumably to spool?!! Have tried to contact Amazon three times via email/website but am being ignored ..... I am most unhappy.

I'm using it on an Asus 1000 netbook running Windows XP.
It plays DVD+RW & ordinary movie DVDs and music CDs.
It won't read my DVD+R discs which I can play on my Philips DVD recorder. It recognise the existence of any file.
It recognise VCD files but won't play them eventhough I can play on another computer. I can hear the read head repeated retry.
DVD-R & DVD+R discs written won't play on other computers.

think before buy1
drive been connect in 3 different pc (2 win vista 1 win xp) and a message appear "device not recognized no drivers to be install"....returned and refund....perfect store service but iteam not recommended
