Customer Reviews
Does the job fine
Slightly smaller than the Acer original. Doesn't have that really dumb clover-leaf mains connector that only Acer and HP seem to use, so you can use the mains lead from other bits of kit in a pinch.
It does seem to get very warm when using the AAOne with a flat battery, i.e. using and charging at the same time, so only four stars. Runs cool once the battery has charged though. The heat made the tacky Qubz labelling peel clean off within about 15 minutes - better off gone anyway.
Well it does its job...
It works and I suppose that's good enough for the price. The only problem with mine is that if you take the laptop off charge for a while and then charge it up (even if it's only at 96%) the power goes on and off on the powerpack until you put your laptop to sleep which becomes annoying very quickly. Other than that it has been really good. It's smaller than my other powerpack which means that you don't have this huge box in the way all the time and it's easier to pack when I go to university etc. This was the cheapest place I could find a powerpack and it is very good for the price.
Useful spare- a little bulky
This is fine as a spare, to keep in the office desk, perhaps, or to replace a lost one. Note it's a little bulkier than the original one provided with the machine, but then again it's a fraction of the cost. You pays your money....
Seems to work well enough; doesn't get over-hot, charges the book OK.
