Customer Reviews
Citizen Skyhawk Black Eagle
I have only had 3 or 4 watches prior to this but the first thing you'll notice is the weight, I tend to go for the smaller watch, and this thing is just the opposite. It's a hefty thing but sits really nicely on the wrist, doesn't seem to slip or slide a lot.
With this being an Eco-Drive when you take it out of its box after a prolonged period of time the hands will race around to the current time, this is also true of setting the time. When you set the time you work with one of the digital screens, once you have pushed the crown back in the hands go to whatever time you have set. One of my favourite features about this watch is great if you travel a lot, if you select 'TME' the left screen will display a city name of about 30 time zones, on the right hand screen it will display the time there. If you press both A and B at the same time then the dial will set to that time.
General use of the watch may take a bit of getting used to though; the contrast of the black dial and white hands is obviously clearly visible but outdoors you may have to angle your wrist to view the time, luckily I haven't had too many problems.
Overall this is a brilliant watch, I couldn't ask for more. Has a good Chronograph function (don't mess around with it too much), a handy Timer function which I have actually used a fair but, three alarms which are unfortunately quiet (well it does have a big, thick case) and a Calendar function (which is my default option as choice).
Absolutely fantastic watch, I'll be using it for years to come!

The watch tells the time... so the rest of this is just my minor gripes.
It has no back light but the luminescence of the hands is enough to read the time by even when the watch has been kept in the dark for over 12 hours. The world time function will not allow you to programme a dual time with anything other than full hour differences from UTC - not ideal for any time zones with x and a half hour difference (eg. in Oz or Afghanistan.) My other gripes really are too minor to mention, however with all that said, I wear the watch every day and still love the look of it. The slide rule bezel has occassional use but mostly just to prove that I know how to for everyone who asks.
I would recommend this watch with the above caveats.
Very dressing
I normally go for bigger diameter watches. They described this watch as some thing big but in actual fact, it is very heavy in weight but small diameter like ladies watch, not too happy about the size but saying that it is very quality.
