Customer Reviews

Good Little Daewoo5
This Combi was ordered on Bank Holiday Saturday, and delivered the following Wednesday.
It was easy to get going. The picture quality & colour are excellent.
The sound is good also, for such small speakers.
This is an ideal bedroom TV, with the Freeview & DVD player, but not mentioned in the summary, it also has an SD slot & a USB input.
Two minor niggles - the base screws were so tight that the unit would not tilt (now fixed), & the remote is very complicated.
Being processor controlled everything is adjustable, when you find it.

Daewoo TV/DVD4
Picture and Sound very good. The only problem with it is many recorded DVDs don't don't play either at all or very pixely. Pre-recorded DVDs play fine.

Disappointing2
I received this TV / DVD Combi unit last christmas. My best piece of advise is stay away from this product. The first product that I received of this (not from Amazon) came with the DVD Player not working. It was promptly returned and a unit was bought from Amazon. I was initially pleased with the TV. However, 6 months later the DVD component stopped working and I had to use the guarantee to get it fixed. The repair man said that he had seen a lot of these problems with this and other products. I would suggest that if you are looking to get a small flat screen TV

1. Buy a better product on the market
2. Buy the DVD component seperatley as they appear to be unreliable

One last point that I should make is that the menu system is not very intuitive and slow. For example, to see the Electoric Programme Guide you have to flick through every channel to see what is on TV. Whereas it would have been better if the guide displayed the first 10 channels and what was on with an option to see the next /previous ten channels.

Hope this helps anyone looking to buy a small flat screen TV this christmas.
