Not so exciting toy
I was really excited when I saw this toy online. My 3 year old is really interested in digital cameras and when I saw this toy I thought "I will not have to sacrifice my real digital cameras anymore" I purchased this camera and it was a real disappointment. First of all the screen resolution and display quality is so poor, I really think the screen may mess up with my 3 year old's eyes. Another down side is she also lost interest in it after a few try because as a grown up even I can barely figure out what you shoot by looking at the screen. I know there is nothing wrong with my kid as she is still interested in my real digital cameras because at least she can see what she shoots. The toy looks very durable and I'm sure it will take all the beating but honestly I expect more quality in it especially at this price range.

Good item to buy
This item was purchased as a christmas present for my 4 year old niece and she loves it. The camera is easy for her to use and had taken over 100 photos on christmas day alone.I have not seen the output from the camera to computer but according to her parents the quality of the photos is acceptable. I read the other reviews on the site and some people were complaining about the quality of photos,remember this is a childrens toy and even though a better digital camera could be purchased for a similar price it will not be as robust(which after holding I can vouch that it is)and it will not be as appealing visualy. The one downside to this camera as far as i can see is the screen on the rear of the unit .It is very small and pictures do not display well on it.This does not detract from the use as my niece looks through the veiwfinder anyway.
All in all this was a good purchase which does what it supposed to do(keep young children amused and give them a taste of taking photos)
