Surprised more people don't use these
This does a good job and delivery was extremely fast. They seem a rare sight, but when I was in Italy, every small shop, house and apartment had a similar bug curtain. The ones I saw were made of braided rope hanging from a bar, which, I have to say, works better than the light strips of plastic used in this product. Still, it does a reasonable job. Now the bugs have to make a detour and fly in through the window, which probably makes them very angry.

Pastel bug curtain
I live in quite a rural area and now I'm using the bug curtain I can have my back door open and not get inundated with flies, etc. It was so easy to fit, really cheap and very pretty. I should have bought it sooner!

Slat type door curtain/bug blind
Bought this as a stop gap until we can get a porch built at the back door. It's fine and extremely good value. We chose two one in chocolate/cream colours and one in pastels, very nice colours and well made.
Not many flies in the house so far!
