Does a job, could be better
This does what I need it to do, it holds my Lacie 2 1/2" external drive and keeps it from getting scratched or the connector getting damaged. The shell is firm but the case as a whole is not what I would call hard, i.e. if you drop the whole thing I believe the drive would get damaged - it is not a rigid impact protecting shell.

For what I want it is fine.

Good protection.
A nice hard case to protect passport sized hard drives especially for taking to & fro in your bag!
You can leave hard drive in case whilst using it as well!
A lot cheaper than some brands & I can't really see any significant difference!
