Nice, but not very instructive
The photos are good, the cover looks professional, but I must say I was somewhat disappointed when opening the book. There are cuts for all ages, and for both women and men, but basically they follow the same pattern: part hair in sections, cut lover line, cut remaining sections. Or for layered hairstyles: part hair, cut lover line, hold remaining sections in certain angle and cut to desired lenght. Not very specific. I had hoped for some more detailed guidelines, such as size of hair sections, length of different layers, or techniques for the finishing touch, in order to achieve the desired look, but did not find them. As for the resulting hairstyles, a few look ok, some look nice because the models have good hair, and the rest have hair endings sticking out, ugly bumps, or simply look like a box placed on top of the head. Not quite the effect one might want. The book has some nice recipes for home made hair products, and will probably be fine for cutting small childrens' hair, or for persons who are not that fussy about styles. But the rest of us might want something more professional and detailed.
