Great Product
I've had a Magimix in the past which was good but I thought I'd go for this one this time and I've had it for a couple of months now and it is fantastic. OK it does't have a juicing attachment but they don't juice great any way, better off buying one of those seperately. This Food Processor is so robust, doesn't shake when you use it, it is so heavy. It is very stylish too. It has a dough button which is incredibly handy, it also has a whisk but these are so strong that I do all my cakes with it and they come out perfect every time (alittle handy tip though, make sure you put all the mixture in the processor first then put the beaters in). The dough blade is stainless steel and makes great bread, I even rise mine in the bowl covered up in the airing cupboard. The plastic bowl is strong as well and all the stainless steel is strong and of excellent quality. Cuisinart must be confident that it won't break down because it has a 20 yr warrenty. I noticed that the lid doesn't have any grooves like the Magimix so it is alot easier to clean. This is well worth the price, you will not be displeased with this.
Brilliant!
This is a brilliant food processor. First of all it's got THE LOOK and to be fair this is what attracted me first. Very shallow I agree but why do you think people buy flashy cars? To me it looked like a luxury car and indeed it is the rolls royce of food processors: Solidly built and glamorous. Everybody who sets foot in my kitchen for the first time says: "whaoh, what's that?" and I love it! Pretty face alright but not only: this has got brains and muscles too...Asset number one it is solidly built, very heavy and therefore very stable, a must for a serious food processor. Second its motor is intelligent and adjusts its speed to what you need to process, very neat! Third, it is quite silent when it operates, the best I have ever had in that respect. Fourth I manage to store most of its elements inside it, which I find very handy (does not look too good if you see the animal as a showpiece as well as an excellent tool though...). Fifth,it is very easy to clean, which won my heart forever and, yes, last but not least it of course does most of what you would expect from the most elaborate food processor, so in spite of the price it is still good value for money (look out for discounts on the net too).In case you still wondered, I absolutely love it!
