Product Description

The NIX X07A is the most affordable High Resolution Digital Photo Frame available. Typical 7 inch digital photo frames have a resolution of just 480 x 234 pixels, totaling 112,320 pixels. The NIX X07A delivers a whopping 800 x 480 pixels, totaling 384,000 pixels. More than three times the resolution of a standard 7 inch frame! The X07A is a frame aimed at those who just want a hassle free, straight forward way to display their photos, but without substituting on image quality. After all what's the point of having an expensive camera that takes lovely large mega pixel photos if they just end up being displayed on a low resolution screen? The X07A really delivers on simplicity, but still incorporates some key features we know our customers want: the option to display their photos in a new progressive shuffle (this means that the photos are mixed up and not always displayed in the same order, but the frame will attempt to bunch up photos that are closer together if ordered by time line, this way events are shown one at a time, but slightly mixed up), an auto-rotate motion sensor that automatically flips your photos 90 degrees in portrait (vertical position)when you rotate the frame, split screen mode (displaying up to 4 images at once), and a remote control.

Customer Reviews

straight forward hi-res frame. - happy5
All I wanted was a straight forward high resolution screen that displayed my photos nicely without loads of features and gadgets that I would never use, and this seems to do the trick and at a low price. It does fortunately keep one or two features that are useful like a remote control and auto-rotate. The image quality is great so I'm happy.

Good quality and good value digital photo frame5
I wanted to buy a digital photo frame for a relative, and was looking for particular features, including being able to show images in a random order, being able to load images from memory sticks and not being too expensive! This one seemed to fit the bill; I had a couple of questions which I emailed the company and got a very quick response, which encouraged me to buy it.

The photo frame itself is quite stylish with a black frame - this is quite wide and if anything makes the image look smaller than it is. The pictures are sharp and good quality and the controls and set up are easy to understand. The only negative point is that the remote control doesn't seem to work all that well - it functioned intermittently, and possibly just needed a new battery. However there are buttons on the back which do all you need to so this wasn't a big issue. It doesn't appear to play videos either, though I didn't examine this possibility very carefully.

All in all, a good product at a very good price - all the features you would expect from a more expensive option. Recommended!

Nix X07A Digital photo frame3
For the Nix X07A, I'd give it not Nix but only Six. Great specs, good ad.,but picture not as good as you're led to believe.Remote is a must, but the one with this unit only operates when about 300mm away!
The limlts of jpeg only(which appears to be the norm for dig.frames)is very much a handycap in everyday use.NIX X07A Digital Photo Frame - Hi-Resolution 800 x 480 screen with Auto-Rotate, Splitscreen & Remote Control
