Intelligent Sensor
With Intelligent Sensor the TV picture automatically adjusts when room conditions change. Intelligent Sensor optimises the brightness, sharpness, colour and contrast of the picture within your viewing environment. This helps to protect against eyestrain, and the TV will use up to 69.5% less power (TUV tested).
Freeview/Digital
With LG, you’ll be ready for the digital switchover. By 2012, all areas of the UK will receive TV in digital as opposed to analogue. Freeview is a subscription free service which brings up to 48 digital TV channels including ITV2, E4, BBC3, and Film4, plus 24 digital radio stations no contract no satellite dish.
USB

LG 50-inch HD 1080p Plasma TV - Fantastic!
I have been totally impressed by this product, and how easy it was to set up. When mounted on the stand, you can easily alter the position of the television to suit where you are positioned in the room.
The image quality is superb with vibrant colours and good picture detail. Watching in HD is absolutely stunnning with sharp, crisp and highly detailed images - this TV is definately intended for HD viewing, making it such a great experience.
Another handy feature is the ability to connect a memory stick or external hard drive via the USB port to play your own music or show off your photos in a slide show.
WOW - what a TV!
Fantastic product at a fantastic price. If you want a good quality TV without breaking the bank then I'd thoroughly recommend this one. If money is no object then go spend more elsewhere.
Great item
I purchased this T.V. to replace my 42" plasma. I was a little concerned about the size at first. However, as it has built in speakers the unit was virtually the same size, it is also considerably lighter.
I currently do not receive H.D. broadcasts but the improvement in picture quality was astounding.
Overall, a fantastic T.V. for a fantastic price.
