Got a plastic guitar? Then buy this!4
If you lke ACDC and/ or guitar games you really should buy this.
I was initialy disapointed that the tracks were going to be live but slightly hopefuly at the same time, as ACDC live at Donnington is generally regarded as one of the best live DVDs made. (I was there by the way :-)
It doesnt disappoint in my opinion. The live tracks work fantastically, which they should do when you think about it, as in the game your playing as a band performing live!
Ideally i would have liked this to be a full ACDC game with the character models and guitar battles etc but if you take it for what it is eg a track pack(as it says on the box!)its great.
I play Rock band on the Hard level and found most of the ACDC tracks to be a solid challenge. Angus isnt one for finger tapping etc so most of the solos are picked (strummed)which in my opinion makes them different to most Rock Band solos.
I got this for £24.99 from Amazon, downloaded the tracks to Rock Band 2 and then gave it to my brother whos got a standard size hard drive, so for us both, it was excellent value!
Enjoy.

It's AC/DC....but not as we wanted!2
Everyone knows AC/DC....from the days of Back in Black to Thunderstruck, who of us hasn't enjoyed a good headbang to some of these classic guitar riffs??

So naturally when I saw an AC/DC pack for the Xbox 360 I thought great....until I started digging a little deeper.

While incarnations such as Aerosmith and Metallica have gone the whole 9-yards with digitally rendered copies of the band members rocking out on stage, a full assortment of their songs as well as some of the bands favourites thrown in to boot, I was expecting the same...a little Angus hopping about on stage, a full set list of AKADAKA classics but instead all we have here is a song expansion pack similar to those you download. No extras warranted in an official band release format.

Plus there are a very short list of actual songs as well. Of the seemingly thousands of songs to choose from (insert pun for same album re-released 15 times here) we are left with a few al time classics a few mediocre songs and a craving that shouldn't there be more.

Dissappointing and I shall be bypassing this one for the truly amazing and anticipated Metallica one instead!

Rocking game5
My son is "Guitar Hero" mad and absolutely loves this game. As he plays the guitar he had heard of these songs before (back in my era) and took to the game easily. If you like guitar hero you should like this.
