Customer Reviews

Fine to have to hand3
This is basically a two-page A4 fold out chord chart. It's easy, quick reference for all the basic chords, nothing too fancy. If you're just getting to grips with the uke then this would be a useful thing to have. However, I have to disagree with the below review. The 'standard' tuning for soprano and concert ukes is indeed G, so this book causes no problems.

Two pages of A4, only one tuning3
Ukulele's have different standard tuning depending on what style you're playing (hillbilly, hawaiian, etc). This only includes the cords for one tuning (not the Spongebob one, but the classic English tuning).

It's basically one folded sheet of A3 paper (or like two a4 sheets as the other person said) that's laminated. The cords are very small, so a lot of them fit. And it tells you the notes for the tuning used.

And there's a miniature drawing of a topless hoola girl on the back.

Some of the cord fingerings are awkward.

It would have been nicer to have more sheets dedicated to the other standard tunings. Ukuleles are not like guitars, and many songs are better played with "alternate" tunings.

A Hint of Discord2
This, superficialy looks great, there is only one drawback, it is not in what I beleive to be the standard tuning of D. It would be useful to put this fact in the title. If you only ever play in a G tuning it's great, otherwise you have to transpose the chord diagrams to get the chord you want.
