Very good for shooting games.
Seen this advertised and was intrigued as to what its transport technology thingy did. Which in a nutshell allows you to change button functions. Making this the perfect gun for all shooters as you can swap between A & B, you can also plug the nunchuk in the bottom of the gun if you need to use that as well. Would recommend, if you're looking to spend a bit less cash the Perfect Shot gun is very similar but you get the wand remote in the pack so the pack works out good value.
If you like your shooters you'll love this pack and the wand is magic!!!
I must admit at first I was not sure about purchasing a 3rd party wii remote, but after watching the video onsite I thought it was worth a go as I've used Nyko products in the past and have not been dissapointed so far.
The wand is nice and solid with a good weight to it, I actually prefer it to the official wii remotes as they always feel a bit lightweight even with batteries. It also has a nice grip to it and all the buttons are nice and sturdy, not clicky like another 3rd party one I did try previously from a different company. It's nice and responsive on screen and I believe the range is better too, I have a fairly large living room and you can get further away from the screen than with the official remotes, which I always found frustrating from nintendo.
The Gun adaptor is simply awesome!! It slots in nicely and its very responsive, obviously if it is too responsive for you just need to adjust sensitivity on your wii menu. It has two easy to reach buttons which control a and b buttons, one in the normal trigger spot and one on the re-load part. Most games allow you to switch controls so either way its perfect!! The nunchuck (not available with this pack but can be bought seperately) slots in the butt of the gun easily.
Since buying this a couple of weeks ago and played with both 'Medal of Honour' games which it worked we have ordered Quantum of Solace (Wii)The Conduit (Wii)The House of the Dead: Overkill (Wii) and House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return .
So you get a brand new remote and a gun all in one!! Thanks Nyko again!!! :D
Essential if you love first person shooter games
Bought The House of the Dead: Overkill (Wii) and Wii Perfect Shot Gun(Wii) at the same time
which was great but noticed this a couple of weeks ago and thought it was well worth a go as I only have one controller at the moment anyway. It's brilliant!!! Nicely made and seems to be an overall improvement on the nintendo remotes in terms of its build and range. The remotes special chip thing means that when you attach the gun attachment you don't have to reach on the top like you do with other gun attachments. Totally recommend this!!
