Broke almost immediately
The microwavable bags broke almost immediately after my partner started to wear them. Yes, they look great, but are one of those products not fit for purpose. I'm sure the manufacturers will say somewhere that they are not designed for walking in, but I think most of us wear slippers on our feet, and indeed walk on our feet. Don't be tempted by the fancy looks, look elsewhere.

Moooo Boots
I bought 2 pairs of these quirky Moo Boots (one for me, and one for mum) I always have really cold feet and thought this would be just the ticket. They really work and are great fun - guaranteed to make everyone smile :0)
The boots have a bean bag type insert that is buttoned into each boot. The bean bag is then microwaved and inserted back into the boot. Its a bit fiddley and I would prefer if you could put the whole boot into the microwave to heat it up - it would definitely make the process a bit easier. The bean bags make it difficult to stand or walk anywhere so i would say the feet warmers should be used while relaxing and putting your feet up.

Cow Slipper Socks - they do the job
I bought these for my wife and she loves them. I have not been aware of the aroma as this worried me a little - I did not want an overpowering odour when she used them. They work just fine and I would recommend them. They should not be used as to replace slippers. They are not for walking around in. There purpose is to keep feet warm while watching the telly or reading etc.
