Customer Reviews
Buy the film not the game!
Disney pixar is always fun what ever your age! My younger brothers play it, my girlfreind plays it excessively and if im under oath ill even admit to picking up the control and guiding the movie characters round the levels, but Wall-e was different it lacked everything that makes a god transission from movie to game.
The game itself follows the movies path, you guide Wall-e and some times Eve throught the levels. Its relatively easy, the graphics are ok but the gameplay is often slow, with poor camera angles and numerous glitches that find you stuck or between walls that just leaves you frustrated.the levels are often too complex for younger players.
The game was poor at best, it lacked that spark and its game play was a let down. The Movie was great so i suggest you buy that the game howvere is barely rentable i definatly wouldnt bother purchasing it if i were you! sadly im not and i have purchased it and its gathering dust on the shelf!
A Bit Easy - Okay for the under 7/8 year olds
Bought this title a few weeks ago and completed it in a couple of nights, once I mastered the controls.
The characters are fine and my kids love the game. They are 3-5 years so I think they are the ideal age group for this game. They don't have a problem working the game out and thoroughly enjoy (nag) playing the game.
The visual aspects are disappointing considering it is a PS3 game, but the sound track is quite addictive. Game play can get a bit repetitive as you find yourself working through the challanges and collect items or shoot things. You get to operate Wall-E, EVE or both and the motion seems generally smooth. There are some irritating parts of the action where you get stuck due to poor rendering and end up not seeing what is happening due to the messages on the screen.
I think at £15 or less this game is okay value, at the original price it is very poor value.
Recommend you rent it for a couple of weeks and then give it back, or buy it and then sell it when you have solved the game.
Top Game
Got this for the Mrs for Christmas and she has not stopped playing it yet.
Great game.
