Good, however some flaws
These are pretty good value in terms of a mid-range ball. They attempt to bridge the gap between low-spin, hard and cheap balls and the high spin, soft feel expensive ranges such as the Ix or V1.
This means a feel on the softer side and a cover material and design that encourages spin.
I play off single figures and therefore am able to hit the ball competently - as such, these are great as my 'all purpose' ball - I do still go up to a premier ball at times though - why?
The main reason is resilience - the cover on this ball scuffs up badly - especially off wedges or short irons - and the spin generated doesn't seem to do justice to the amount of cover shaved off the ball.
So - they are certainly worth the price and a great compromise over the bottom of the range balls, however not in the same league as a premier ball.
Similar balls are the NXT or TaylorMade Burner.
