Very Informative
Although this took 6 weeks to arrive (which I guess shows how popular it is) it was worth the wait. Its a great place to start for anyone considering buying property in Italy. I have now lent it to a friend who is probably going to buy something in Ambruzzo, and although I ended up not buying property in Italy if I ever did - I would ask for this book back again.
It's got good advice about the regions and important checklists - things to consider costings for things like replacing roofs, renovations etc.
Although if you are thinking of buying in Italy and if you want to renotate though the golden rule is:
You must be on site for anything to happen or hire a great project co-ordinator which can be a bit costly .. otherwise forget it!
(This is the advice I've had from friends who have just renovated a house.)
So to close ... if you are considering buying in Italy buy this book first before you decide!
Excellent informative Paperback - A must for Prospective Buyers
This is an excellent informative paperback! An absolute must for anyone contemplating or about to buy a property in Italy, lots of useful information, addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses etc, which is a must when buying in Italy. Having already bought a property in Italy and about to buy another I would recommend this book.[...].
