Too short for me
I usually use a Reebok speed rope and fancied a change, so I gave this a try. The handles are nicely padded and the rope swings quite well. However I soon came across a couple of problems.

1. The rope is quite thick, so it makes a lot of noise when turning fairly quickly.

2. At 8' long I find it too short - my usual rope is 9' long.

I'm 5'11" so if you are are around 5'8" or shorter then the rope will probably be okay in length. I would only consider this item if you are checking to see if skipping is suitable for you, or if you just want a casual rope. Mine is now used by my daughter.

soft material
I have some other trouble with this Rope. It doesn't suit my height a bit. But it's not so annoying as the soft material from which the rope is made. It takes some extra effort to make it fly fast. I used to use some others ropes. When I bought this one, I didn't notice that it had a soft material. Well, my fault. Next time will be selecting more carefully. Some people it might suit, but still soft material is not a good option to go for. (go for leather one ;) )
