Fantastic Fun Cakes5
After buying the first Confetti Cakes book I have had this on pre-order for yonks and was very excited when it arrived this week. The front cover is a true indication of the great designs inside. The Sweetie Factory is an amazing 2 tier whimsical cake - very Willy Wonka - and one that I will be persuading my kids to have for their birthdays without a doubt. I make cakes for a living and think all of the designs are fun, colourful and achievable by all levels and the cupcakes and biscuits would look fabulous at any kids party. This is a great inspirational book to have in your collection, I love it.

Better than the adult book.4
I got this book from the Library originally because I had got the "Confetti Cakes" book and been dissappointed. Not so with this one. I loved it. The cakes are great and achievable. There is a section on small cakes but, unlike the last book, they could all be made as large cakes, so are still great inspiration. The tips and techniques section at the front I found informative. I teach cake decorating, so am not a novice, but there were a few things I hadnt heard of, but will give a try.

You will need to make allowances for certain differences as this is an American book, and supplies, atmosphere and techniques are different, but nothing that cant be worked around. All in all, I will be buying this book, and wish I could trade in the last one in favour of this one!

Stunning ideas4
Great ideas for achieving some wonderful results. Could do with more step-by-step photography though (for us novices). Does inspire you to really want to have a go.
