An easy read
Bought this paperback as I had just bought a D300 and it came with the Capture NX software bundled for free. As I am relatively new to digital post processing I thought a guide would come in useful. I found the book very easy to read and understand and it really helped to get me started "fixing" my photographs.
The book only covers "v 1.1" and even my 8 month old disc was a newer version so some items were not covered. I believe Nikon has recently released a new version of Nikon Capture so this book will be even more out of date. (Wait for the updated version is my advice.)
To summarize, a well written book that is easy to read and follow, as long as your software is v1.1
