Customer Reviews

Great, no-nonsense remote5
I always try to get the official Nikon items rather than aftermarket copies, and this remote was no exception to the rule.

It works well and it helps to be in line-of-site of the remote sensor on the camera body as it becomes much more sensitive to the button press.

One word of warning: mine needed a new battery after a few days of getting the item. I thought it was not very responsive until the battery was replaced, and now it is much better. If yours seems the same then try replacing the battery as the first port of call.

Useful small gadget - works on my D805
This thing works great with my D80. It does exactly what is promises to deliver, nothing more, nothing less. Have found this useful when I take group photos (with myself in the group). Works from behind the camera as well if used indoors.

Also is very useful if you want to use it for long exposure and prefer to avoid any shake...

Its not expensive but quite useful when you need it. Go for it ...

Great little gadget5
What to say - it does exactly what it says on the tin - smaller than I thought from the photo so I guess it would be easy to lose and as someone else said already Remember to go into the `Shooting Mode' option in your camera menu and select one of the remote control modes!.

But it works flawlessly with my D40 though you do need to be in front or to the side of it for the sensor to work.
