The EN-EL3 is a compact Lithium-ion power supply for use exclusively with Nikon D50, D70, D70s and D100 digital SLR cameras. It can be recharged repeatedly using the MH-18 quick charger or the MH-19 multi charger. Approximately 1,600 shots can be taken with a fully charged EN-EL3 battery. Two can be used in the Multi-function battery pack MB-D100 for extended shooting periods. To charge the EN-EL3 use the MH-18 (supplied with D100), or the optional multi-charger MH-19 that charges two EN-EL3 batteries from mains power supplies 100-240V or a 12V cigar lighter.

Not for a Nikon D80
I bought this battery after reading the above reviews. It doesnt fit a Nikon D80 you need a Nikon EN-EL3e. Im sure its a quality product thats why i gave it a 5

Top quality & bargain price
Who would have thought Amazon will be the cheapest place to buy genuine Nikon battery? Totally suprised as it is far cheaper than eBay (genuine off course), paid little over £20. As far as the battery goes, its top quality. On a full charge can take over 600 shots (Nikon D80). Use two of these babies in a hand grip/battery pack and your shooting capability wil increase to 1500 shots - nice.
