Solar Spot - Nice but Dim
I purchased the Spot Lights for convenience as I didn't want the expense of laying garden cabling. I wanted the spots to light up a series of 1.5 metre high ball trees running along a back fence. I hoped that the units would be strong enough to be seen from about 20ft, the distance to my back fence. The units are durable, they work, however I am a little disappointed with the brightness of the illumination. Even when standing 2ft away! Each unit has 3 small LED lights which are not very powerful. When the light is directed up to the lolly pop trees they make little difference in the darkness. In my opinion, they are not suitable for my purposes. I would however say that the unit is neat and tidy, worked on first installation, but would be best suited for close lighting in borders and patio pots. If you take note of the `sales picture' you will see they are using "2" lights to highlight the shrub in the pot - that is a recommendation I would suggest. I also purchased "SuperLED Solar 60 White LED Light String" these shine brightly and I wish I had purchased these for my lolly pop trees - highly recommend.
