Children comforted - parents mad!
With fond childhood memories I bought this collection of Topsy and Tim stories for my youngest daughter on her 4th birthday - and boy do I regret it!!! Only semi - joking! Her birthday was exactly 31 days ago and I have read this book in its entirety approximately 50 times! Suffice it to say that young children will love this collection of four stories about Topsy and Tim - in the gym, learn to swim, make a new friend and start school. My oldest daughter (age 7) refuses to sit in the same room whilst the stories are read for the umpteenth time but the "real-life" activities of T and T will enthrall and captivate younger listeners

Safe And Innocent
I remembered growing up on Topsy & Tim books in the seventies and was glad to see they are still in print. These have updated illustrations but still the innocent feel of the originals. They show happy family life (sadly increasingly rare nowadays). It is a feelgood book with a simple story that poses no social issues that I can read to my 3 year-old daughter without having to answer any awkward questions.

Over and over again
My daughter [...] LOVES all Topsy and Tim's books. She reads them over and over and over and over again. I have found them very useful for example for her visits to the doctor and the dentist. Furthermore she relates a lot of the things that she does to what Topsy and Tim also do.
Really they are great.
