Synopsis
This handsome volume provides a detailed account of Aston Martin's fascinating and chequered motor racing history. Clearly setting out its evolution through various ownerships, the author recalls the company's diverse racing record, which began in 1921and ran uninterrupted - war years apart - until 1963. The modern era is also covered, as Aston Martin returned to sports car racing in 2005 with the DBR9. Superbly illustrated throughout, this book records with authority the successes and failures of one of the giants of British sports car racing.

Aston Martin: A Racing History review
I won this book from a competition in the Sunday Times. I am I huge AMR fan and this book is very informative and up to date. It charters every Aston Martin Racing car in history and provides eyewitness accounts of the races from Team members and spectators. It includes a full specification of each car and is filled with rare photographs from the eras. I don't always like historical motor racing books but this one is brilliant. Although I won my copy, I would probably have bought it otherwise.
Oh, and a big thumbs up to Aston Martin Racing for beating the Corvettes at Le Mans this year they deserved it.
