Atlast available on disc THE MIGHTY FANGIO STORMS AROUND THE RING
The 1957 German Grand Prix is so famous because it showed the true brilliance of Mr Fangio lapping the original Nurbergring to overcome Collins and Sterling Moss commanding lead.

This race is so famous that its the stuff of legend,Fangio was nearly a minute down on leader Moss but his charge up the field breaking the lap record twice along the way saw him overtake Moss to win a career defining race,and this on the original 13.1 mile old course.

Historians when talking about Fangios brilliance as a driver in the days when atleast one drivers was killed each season on the race tracks of Europe always return to the 1956 German Grand Prix to show his driving ability.

I have never seen the race in all its glory only fleeting extracts, and the 1956 race even though its so famous was never released on video over the years and has only just been released on DVD by that superb Isle of Man company Duke.
Jeff Duke the famous TT Racer has been in the video dvd business for some years and he has a magnificent catalogue of bikes and cars in all their racing guises.

Those of you familiar with that epic 1956 battle around the Ring will buy this without second thought,just imagine what Mr Schumacher might have accomplished had not Jackie Stewart forced the closure of that famous 13.1mile course after Nickie Lauddas horrific accident,sadly we will never know.
