Very informative and well written
I have read this book from front to back many times now. I can guarantee that you will learn something from this book, and certainly improve your catch rate considerably. It caters for the complete beginner, up to the advanced carper. The easiest thing in the world is to gain knowledge from other people. Let them do the hard work, and you feed off their success !!

Julian and Kevin certainly know their trade,proof is in the catching.

A very good read, and a very good reference book to pass on to family members, colleagues, or to keep in the fishing club library for all to enjoy.

great book to get those carp biting
some of the rigs explained int his book are superb and really help. ive only managed to try out 4 of them so far but i am now catching more fish than ever. these rigs really do help to possition the bait so it is appealing to the fish. it describes many ways,depths,weights and floats you need to make a rig. i founf it a great help and i hope you do too.

A good book for the beginner but a little dated.
I found the title of the book a little misleading. I am a carp angler of some seven years, and wanted some information on how to improve my rigs on pressured waters but this book did not provide it for me. The book would be a good starting point for an angler who is just getting onto carp fishing but not so good for an angler just trying to iron out his creases.
