Wow! Fantastic!
After having tried reins and handstraps this is fantastic. I am quite tall and find that standard reins mean I have to bend slightly to be able to hold the rein and that also my child didn't like walking with them on as I kept having to pull on him as rein so short. The handstrap had different problems, mainly that it felt as if I was constantly pulling on his wrist. Both the reins and handstraps meant he didn't want to walk as much. This rucksack is great. Roadtested it yesterday and he walked all round shops for 1 hour 40 mins (which at 2 is not bad) without a moan at all and he had his drink in the bag itself which meant no more leaking drinks in my handbag. Would definitely recommend!

Bought this for my 2 year old son as he wasn't happy with reins anymore and this was the perfect solution. You can attach the rein which is so handy for the times when they are just too independent to hold your hand!
He loved it straight away and felt very grown up with his rucksack and carrys his drink and snacks in it, he wont leave the house now without it, need I say more.

Lil Mr Independant!
My 2yr 2 month old Son has two speeds & one of them is STOP! He is at the age where he wants to do everything for himself & walk everywhere but there are just times when its inappropriate & not safe enough to do so.

I bought this bag for 2 reasons-
1)To promote & indulge his independence whilst being safe &
2)To assist me on a long weekend to the Norfolk Broads

Our trial run to the shops was a huge success & he loved the idea of packing his little bag & I was filled with confidence. It was a pleasure to be able to let him have some freedom without me stressing that he would run off & endanger himself.

The second run to the supermarket was good for the first 10mins then when he was 'reigned in' a little to stop him picking up things then it all kicked off!
So I shall be using it for walks to the park/shops & day trips but will steer clear of it in the supermarkets!!

The bag is just the right size for him & he loves being a 'big boy' & taking responsibility for his rucksack by packing & carrying it. It is just big enough for a nappy, half a packet of wipes, juice & a fruit bar/snack which is perfect.

The strap is long enough for him to feel he is 'away' from me but not so that I don't feel I will have good control over him when we walk.

This is one of my better purchases & I highly recommend it (for a first time mum trying to decipher what is good & worthwhile purchase & whats a money making scam & will sit in the cupboard collecting dust!)
