Brilliant Bedtime Stories
I have been reading this book to my daughters since they were around three and the eldest is eight now and I find her reading it on her own. The stories are great, simple but entertaining. The subject matter is very funny ! I love the one about turning her back yard into a hot summers day in the middle of winter. And the illustrations are fabulous, so much is going on so the kids were drawn right in immediately! The cats face is brilliant !
Despite reading them 100s of times its still regularly pulled off the shelf at bedtime, its a pleasure to read and one I'll keep even when the kids are grown and gone I think ! A really great addition to any library or collection and a wonderful gift, buy it !
