Irish Grammar for Starters
A good little book. Sets out the basics of Irish Grammar without fuss nor verbosity. Great accompaniment to a beginners course or for more advanced speakers who need a quick answer. However, could do with a little more explanation of tenses and their operation.
Irish Grammar: a Decent Buy
This is an alright buy. I personally don't like it very much. I think the set out is very illogical and needs more structuring. The book itself does give you the answers you want, but in some areas it doesn't provide a very comprehensive explanation, for example some tenses and their use. I would recommend this book as a supplement to your Irish learning, as it is very useful as a quick-grammar-reference book.
