Product Description

If the popular image of Irish folk singing is that it is usually conducted at around eleven o clock on a Friday night, out of tune and accompanied by little more than a considerable number of pints of Guinness, then the reality is entirely different. Truth is the Irish like to sing at any time of any day and numbers such as Molly Malone, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling and The Rose Of Tralee are as much a part of their daily lives as Whiskey In The Jar and Seven Drunken Nights! Spanish Lady Whiskey In The Jar Lord Of The Dance Dicey Reilly I ll Tell Me Ma My Irish Molly Lannigan s Ball Molly Malone When Irish Eyes Are Smiling Wild Rover Forty Shades Of Green She Moved Through The Fair The Rose Of Tralee Black Is The Colour Carrickfergus Cliffs Of Doneen Dirty Old Town It s A Long Way To Tipperary Seven Drunken Nights

Good-ish3
For Irish music - traditional / pub music - to have such a long standing reputation, karaoke DVDs seem to be very scarce. Therefore, it is disappointing that the ones that do exist are tacky, poorly produced and have a poor collection of songs on them. Whilst the songs on this DVD number almost 20, there is something for everyone. However, the subtitle/graphics are poor and the producing of the songs is really not up to the standard of other karaoke sets. Must try harder next time.
