Xmas 2008 sorted!!
Russell Ash has long been renowned for his brilliant research into the bizarre and the obscure, which is what makes this hysterical book even funner - the knowledge that he has made none of this up, all of the names in here are real. Some parents really did christen their child Luke Warm, others, Little Dick and Dick Willy Cock, Amorous Swain, Fanny Stretcher, Dick Sodom, Betty Snot, snd, one of my favourites, a couple who married and merged their last names to become Axe-Killer.

This is the perfect Xmas gift to give to any one with a sense of humour, and even better, to someonen without one. I defy anyone to turn any page in this gem of a tome without a smile.

Hilariously Brilliant
This is an amazingly funny book - it will have tears rolling down your face. My brother received it as a Christmas present, and we didn't stop laughing for about twenty minutes of reading! Then we had to put it down and have some Christmas dinner...

It is a great present, or something great to have in the house for people to pick up, read, and laugh at.

I have to show this book to all that call in. It's one of those books that you can have hanging around and just pick it up and open. I must say it's even better afer a pint or two.
