Out of date maps of usa
Having bought a TOM TOM ONE mainly for a holiday in florida I purchased the usa maps as well. However I found them disapointing, in many instances there was very little notice of junctions, dispite the verbal instructions stateing 800 yards, I was on the brink of overshooting the exits. It is likely many road junctions have been modified and the maps not up dated. In one instance, on interstate 1 traveling west exit 23 it told me to take the exit and then immediatelyre join again, I expect the main carageway was being repaired wen the maps were made up. In another incident I was traveling south on Interstate 75, and decided to ignore the tom tom as I was knew the area an changed my mind to go over the sunshine skyway I expected the tom tom to recalculate the shotest route to my desination at Sarasta as normal, it didn't instead it turned me round to go back, an additional 65 miles luckly I knew to ignore it again. Overall the mape are better than stopping and reading a road atlas, but at the price of £107, I would want far better quality.
