Manufacturer's Description
Ben follows the adventures of Ben Tennyson, an average 10 year-old that discovers a strange alien watch in a crashed meteorite. Soon, Ben discovers that by using the watch he can transform into endless alien superheroes each with their own unique powers and abilities all while keeping his 10 year-old personality.
So what’s a typical day for Ben? You Know, the usual: transforming into different superheroes, fighting against wrong-doers, saving the world and oh yeah, occasionally getting into some kid style trouble.
Modelled on the motor home grandpa Max uses to take Ben and Cousin Gwen on their summer vacation. This great vehicle soon becomes the Alien hub of operation for Ben, Gwen and Grandpa max. Vehicle opens to reveal Alien Laboratory where you can mould and sculpt aliens using the included reusable clay. Use the Alien Viewer to view the three Ben 10 animation disks. And dissolve the Transforming Alien Rocks in the special chamber (also sold separately in twin packs).
Customer Reviews
Poor quality and value for money
The advert looks fantastic, so does the box. But a big disappointment once you open it. There are 2 alien balls - pop them in water and they fizz (very very slowly) and a minute alien is left behind. There is a viewer to look at aliens on a picture disc - but they are not very clear and hard to see unless you get the angle just right. There is also a very small tub of green play doh and some presses to make aliens - but they are not 3-dimensional. Oh, and the truck which opens out, is hard to put back together and broke on first use. My 6 year old was not impressed. Spend your money on something else, I'd suggest.
Not recommended
Really badly made toy, the truck fell apart in the first week. We bought the Ninja Turtles truck at about the same time and the quality is incomparable. Ben 10 is still my son's favourite character but he hardly ever plays with this toy.
A disappointment in the true sense of the word
Little interest value and poor quality. Truck hard to put back together and bits fall off all the time. Sat in it's box for 6 months until I asked my sons permission to get rid of it. He was glad to! If they are fans of Ben Ten the Omitrix ( or however it's spelt)is a slightly better bet.
