Manufacturer's Description
Developed with the needs of the 'kinetic elite' in mind, the Samsung N310 is expertly crafted to complement people’s fast-paced and digitally interconnected lives. The result is truly ground-breaking - giving people a powerful, stylish and convenient way to share information, photos, music, personal content and stay connected to the Internet at home and on the move. And for that extra touch of style, the superb look and feel of its ultra-compact and elegant chassis is accentuated with a choice of colours and haptic styling. Even though it is one of the world’s lightest mini-notebook in its class, weighing just 1.23 kg with a powerful 4 cell battery, the N310’s innovative design is packed with the latest technology for maximum mobility and productivity. bright, fun and easy to use!5
Bright, funky, slim, light and easy to use, perfect for those that want something more attractive than your average black laptop/netbook. I bought this laptop as im moving out and couldnt live without a computer, everyone pointed me in the direction of dell and apple, but this far out does what i've experienced on my family and friends devices. My samsung netbook was delivered in excellent quality and in a couple of days with standard delivery. No complaints!

    From a Student's perspective...4
    Hey guys!

I bought the N310 as I thought A) it looked pretty snazzy and compact and B) it served all my basic PC needs. It succeeds in both these respects.

Firstly it is very good looking and is not easily marked or scratched as i feared it might. I also feared that the massive self-promoting 'SAMSUNG' they imprinted on the lid would be garish but it's very subtle and decent. The keyboard is great, not a great deal (8% apparently!) smaller than a normal board and they have gotten rid of the useless keys.

I wanted this netbook as I am studying journalism and I needed ultra-portable and quick set up. It excels in these and the battery life I have found very impressive which was probably my greatest fear overall.

However, dont be fooled that this is in anyway a substitute for an actual PC or laptop, it is neither. I have been told that I am to need quite a lot of software such as Adobe CS4 etc for my course which I know will completely bog down this netbook and would stop it from being as well performing as I have orginally found it. Therefore, I see the N310 as a kind of laptop on the go, something I can whip out at a moments notice and tap away at, somewhere between a palm pilot and a laptop.

Overall I am very pleased with the netbook and for this price it is well worth it, but please dont buy this expecting it to fulfill needs that only a fully fledged PC can provide.

PS. not suitable for people with bad eyesight due to the screen size etc...

    good stuff4
Does what it says on the tin. Once up and running it is more than capable of running office 2007. Great value for money
