Customer Reviews
Difficult to use & unclear instructions
I found this product quite difficult to use; perhaps it's the nature of what it's needed for, & the fact that attempting to reach the appropriate area to massage is easier said than done when heavily pregnant!
I bought this particular oil because it seemed to have a good combination of ingredients, & I thought the fact that it was relatively expensive was reassuring. However in retrospect, I now wish I'd gone for something a little cheaper, as its so difficult to use I don't think I'll get the benefit of the lovely ingredients. This wasn't helped by the fact that there are no real instructions with the product for how to do perineal massage, so I had to get one of my pregnancy books to refer to as its not straightforward!
Quite dry
Quite expensive, but that didn't prevent me from buying it, due to the nature of what it prevents ;-)
Bought for my wife so she wouldn't have to go through the pain of an episiostomy, but actually she didn't like the product too much. She says it isn't lubricated enough - it's actually quite dry to the touch. So she had real problems with it. She's perservering with it, but i'm of the opinion that a pregnant woman goes through enough discomfort, that something like this should be as 'painless' as possible.
As to whether it works? Well, I guess we'll find out in four weeks.
