Manufacturer's Description
Incredibly detailed and authentic, this part-poseable 10 inch action figure has a real working throw-and-deploy parachute and is robust enough to withstand the hardest of impact. Now you can take on your own aerial challenges by throwing this daredevil sky high or drop him out of your bedroom window. Watch him defy all the odds as his parachute deploys and returns him safely to the ground.

The RAF Falcons are on a mission to entertain! Famous for their red, white and blue parachutes and awesome freefall formations, the RAF Falcons perform their daring aerobatic displays for crowds around the world. Falcons are chosen from the ranks of super-fit RAF Physical Training Instructors. To make the grade, potential Falcons must complete an intensive training course which includes 30 freefall parachute jumps. They must show bravery and confidence every time and are assessed on their exit and freefall, canopy control and landing accuracy. For those who pass, a coveted PJI (parachute jump instructor) badge awaits.

Action figure too heavy to parachute2
Very little play value with this toy. The man is too heavy and doesn't float to the ground, rather plummets at great speed. The parachute gets tangled every time and a child can't untangle it to use it again, so it's frustrating. Works best from a first floor window or higher, but then someone has to go and get it! My son was bored with this after a couple of goes.

    Theres good and bad3
A birthday present for a 6 year old boy. An action man sized figure with attached parachute which although does get tangled will still parachute down. The only drawback and its a biggy is that they will be tempted to throw from height for a better parachute action. I stopped my boy throwing it down from the bedroom window, he wasnt dangled precariously or anything but my heart raced when I thought of what could have happened. The best way without climbing high up a tree etc is to scoop all the parachute up hold the man tight and throw up into the air. Works well most times if good cordination. We took this to the park recently and soon had a crowd of onlookers. Not suitable for use in the house, tried down the stairs but not high enough so an outdoor toy. You can remove the parachute as seen on tv but wouldnt be sure how easy would be to reattach.
Despite my reservations my son loves it.

    Very good5
My six and half year old loves this - it's hardly been out of his hand and it now has to sleep next to him on his bedside table. Quality is excellent. Parachute definitely works but care is required and, if it does tangle, it can be easily unhooked and sorted out. My son likes me to throw it so it goes really high - but he can get it to work well too. Based on my experience of this first HM character, I'll definitely be looking at getting some of the others.
