If you want the best, this is it
I must admit that I was a little disappointed with the general picture quality when I first hooked up my 360 to my new LG 32" HDTV with the standard component cable. The picture seemed generally dark, just not as spectacular as I'd imagined. After much faffing I'd decided the best setup was with contrast and brightness as high as they'd go, with sharpness at around 60%. I tried the VGA cable but this dulled the colours, so I was tempted by the recommendation of the Monster cable from a local games shop. At £[...] (without the optical out lead) it is an expensive alternative to the £[...] Microsoft cables, but if you have a good eye for detail and picture quality, you'll be very happy with the improvement it brings. For example on PGR3, a game which always looked particularly dark, it brings out detail and clarity in abundance. It's like it provides an extra 20% of contrast and brightness levels, making the 360 look as awesome as it should in HD. I'd recommend trying the Monster cable if you're a perfectionist for picture quality, have at least a 28" HDTV and have £[...] to throw at your system. This said, don't expect miracles, it's really a fine tuning device for your picture. If you're happy with what you've already got, don't bother, but if you want the best there's no better than Monster. The build quality is striking straight out of the box, and they're an established company too; a friend of mine has been using Monster cables for his hi-fi separates set up for years.

Good but pricey
This is another great cable from Monster. The reason i didnt give it a high score is because i didnt see a great improvement in picture quality from the stock cable and the annoying adapter for the optical out is still evident! This forces you to buy the optical adapter which is not really needed. The pro's are that it is highly durable with its mesh protection and a very nice length. It aslo has really nice tight fitting gold contacts and there are no problems with interferance. This cable will last a very long time providing great picture and doesnt come freely from the component contacts. This does mean however that if you are taking your 360 to a friend's house or LAN i would advise not to detach the cable from the TV as this will loosen the great contacts.

I have used mine to run through the wall connecting to my HD tv on the wall and i would highly reccomend this product.
