The Plantronics Voyager PRO is equipped with dual-microphones, giving excellent frequency response and noise cancellation for pristine business class communication. The problems associated with windy days, motorway driving and busy environments are effectively removed. In addition to noise cancelling, the Voyager PRO features AudioIQ2® DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology which adjusts sound levels so every word can be heard clearly and at a comfortable listening volume. An on-board 20 band adaptive equaliser dynamically enhances the clarity of outgoing audio according to the environment and voice.

The headset is conveniently sized

The Voyager PRO has been comprehensively ‘ergonmically’ tested to achieve a headset ideal for extended wearing. Durable, flexible rubber is used, suitable for continuous skin contact. The behind-the-ear wearing style is perfectly counterbalanced so weight is distributed evenly, rendering it virtually weightless when worn. Setting up

Thanks to Plantronics' QuickPair technology, setting up the headset is quick and intuitive. The Voyager PRO supports Bluetooth 2.1 and EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) and Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), making it compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices, including phones, PDAs, and laptop computers. The headset also features Plantronics' multipoint technology, which lets you pair and answer calls on two different Bluetooth devices. This means you can quickly and easily connect the headset to two phones, such as a Smartphone and a personal phone, or a phone and a Bluetooth-enabled device, such as a laptop that you use to make Internet calls. Great product!

Did lots of research for a perfect bluetooth headset and came up with this one. The over the ear designs work best for me as they stay in place MUCH better while on the move. However, having tryed a couple of cheep models (motorola and Jabra) i found the speech both incoming and out to be very quiet and low quality, meaning that half the time i had to switch to the handset anyway! I took a bit of pot luch with ordering the Plantronics as i hadnt tryed the fit on my ear but had a good idea of the sound quality. Thankfully it fitted perfect straight out of the box and stayed firmly in place and the in and outgoing sound is wonderfull!
This headset costs a bomb but if yr like me and fed up with buying cheep rubbish that you end up not using because its just a hassle but need the freedom of handsfree then this is the way to go!!!

Essential for the IPhone 3GS

The IPhone is an incredible bit of kit but near impossible to pair with a blue tooth system..Have bought do date Jabra, Nokia nothing worked properly no one can hear you at the other end consistently.

Then someone told me that I should buy the Plantronics Pro. IT WORKS PHENOMALLY! Excellent has transformed my life. It is seamessly pairs with the IPhone. Works with clarity when I drive and when I walk the doggie.

Essential bit of kit!

Calls are generally very clear. However, sometimes speech over the connection between handset and headset gets garbled and the only way to solve it is to switch to the handset or terminate the call. Some people do say that it makes you sound robotic(!) but most can hear you very clearly and the noise cancelling does work very well (you can stand in the middle of a supermarket with announcements coming over the tannoy and children screaming next to you and the person at the other end of the line can't hear!
