Excellent little gadget
This is an excellent little gadget. I read the reviews on Amazon of the older model and was concerned about comments that the temperature reading was not that accurate. I took the gamble that this issue would have been resolved in the updated model and am glad to say I have been proven correct. I have tested the temperature against several themometers I have and they all consistentantly measure within 0.2degrees of each other. Would definately recommend this model if you are after this kind of product.

Great product!
I really love this product. It is easy to see at a glance if the room is cool, just right, warm or too hot.
I was considering using the thermometer on my baby monitor, but found that the gro-egg was MUCH easier to read in a dark room or from a distance. I don't even have to enter the nursery now to check the temperature - I can tell from the doorway! Highly recommended - well done gro company!

not eggzact
bought this for the ease of use in the room. It is very handy however not the most accurate if anywhere near a window or door etc. It is very easy to look at and quiclky see but any sort of wind etc will have an inaccurate reading. Looks good in the room though and gives off a nice glow in the room for baby.
