Good case if not carrying attachments
The product is good if you are using it for Canon your EOS 450 with the lens which comes with the camera, as the case is a good fit. However, if you have other lenses or grips to attach to the camera, then you won't be able to use the case with those items attached.

Canon Semi-Hard Case EH19-L for EOS 450D
When I purchased my Canon E0S 450D with 18-55mm lens in December 2008 this case was in short supply in the UK. Eventually I obtained mine through the Amazon site from Avides Media AG in Germany. An excellent service from Avides and I had the case within 3 days free of postage costs.

I had reservations when ordering about the case being semi-hard. I needn't have worried as the case is well designed, and wraps around the camera and lens to protect both. The case is quite functional when in use. The camera can be used and the case remains unobtrusive to the picture-taking.

My only reservation is that the case seemed to me to be a little pricey. However I was soon alerted in my search that the case was often advertised at a lower price, only to find that it was inevitably not in stock. Not all advertisers have the honesty of Amazon advertisers.

Canon disappoints Amazon really disappoints
I ordered this camera case in December when it was "in stock". It arrived 2 months later. So that was very bad service and an interesting definition of being in stock.

The camera case is expensive but is nothing like the previous camera cases I have had for slr cameras. These were all leather. It is velcro, and soft material with very little leather or anything hard. I wonder how well it will help the camera if I drop it or knock it. I think it will keep the dust out.

So poor value for money and I will only find out in the summer time whether it is fit for purpose.
